Profile
Lockhart captained the Scotland Under-19 team during a surprisingly successful inaugural appearance in the International Youth Tournament in Amsterdam in 1995 when he won the Player of The Tournament award. He first appeared for the full Scotland side later in the same season scoring 31 against MCC and he did even better in his second appearance, scoring 119 not out against the Earl of Arundel's XI last year. He has since developed into an experienced opening batsman and a useful reserve wicketkeeper, although he has failed to make the most of the talent he showed in his early days. He has also played club cricket in Melbourne and Cape Town.
